You are like the Muslims in that you get all upset over an offense to your god in a far away place, giving it far more publicity that it otherwise would have had.
However, I applaud you for not calling for heads to be cut off. That is a BIG differentiator.
Christians voice their protests but the consequences are nil.
The fact that a student newspaper can bash christianity is
so old.
The weekly assault on Christianity is very common and even
accepted as intelligent and scholarly among professors.
Don't try to compare the protest from Muslims on Mohammed and Christians in the same context.
I never see or hear Muslim bashing from the left in this country. There is a whole lot of material to work with but
why the silence?
This is the kind of offense that real people feel strongly about. I wonder if the guy is not trying to pick a fight by drawing this, or showing how "liberated" he is. Once upon a time unbelievers in this country had the good taste not to mock religion, or at least were prepared to take a poke in the jaw for their audacity. Now they think anything goes, that any return fire is not acceptable. In short cowardice of a sort.
