DFU comments -- Three years ago, Tim Robbins was disinvited from speaking at the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown. Neither the Bush Adminstration nor any Republican group in Congress did anything to try to prevent that speech. As we await the showing of THE PATH TO 911, we see a former president and the highest levels of the Democratic Party threatening legal and legislative action against ABC if a movie is shown.
Does everyone now realize what would happen if Hillary got back into the White House? Or how about the danger if the Dems take back control of Congress? Free speech is fine for them. They want to shut down ours. That is an inconvenient truth.

I have actually met Tim Robbins. He is a moron man-child, under the thrall of his nightmare common-law wife, Susan Sarandan.

I think Tim played himself in "War of the Worlds."
It came out in 1992. What's sad is that Robbins' 'Dead Man Walking' is generally superb. He's a better film maker then he is an actor.

Uses the word "corporation" with the same disdain and disgust 1990s Iraqi Kurds held for Saddam.
Does that fingers-in-the-air quote thing whenever speaking the word God.
Will gleefully provide a story about their first trip to Amsterdam.
Will jump through any liberal leap of logic in order to end the sentence with the all absolving, "after all, who am I to judge"
Just my opinion, but I think you should see it . . . it's a funny movie. If you can, check it out from a public library. That way you're not supporting him with your money.

Yeah, our prisons are full of gentle souls like Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.

Though don't forget the opposite is also true, there are many who are "urban-phobic" also a pet peeve.
I am still stunned at the dems Stalinist behavior and really, really hope this stunt of theirs is a major league backfire. Nothing would be more fitting and well deserved.
I agree. What is so great about it. I never really care for prison movies anyway. Who cares about convicts?
