Please share your choices of stand up guys for the 2008 election. I can't come up with any who would have a prayer of being nominated let alone elected.

I'm not sure we have any real stand-up guys for 2008. I hope I'm wrong. FWIW, I think Allen's the least repulsive of the bunch.

I'm not exactly turned on by any of the names being thrown against the wall either. The best one IMO and the one the libs are terrified of is Newt. I know he has some personal baggage but not as much as the Clintons and the libs love them but, of course, they'll go after Newt with all the long knives they can find. Still, he is the only one that knows Washington and politics and is also well versed in history and what to avoid and he's not afraid of "telling it like it is" when it comes to the WOT.
