I think it's stupid/spineless to beat someone into the ground, calling them stupid/spineless 24/7 and then not expect them to act stupid/spineless. Evidently that's the method to your maddness...and then you get to say, "see, see, see, they're stupid/spineless!"

In other words until I called them stupid and spineless they were courageous and brilliant
Glad you pointed that out to me

I'm saying that whatever it is you're looking for in human nature, wait, look hard enough and most likely you'll find it sooner or later. You've zeroed in on finding fault in Republicans...spineless, you like to call them.

Since spinelessness is what you are looking for in Republicans, one of them, being a member of the human species, is eventually not going to disappoint you . Then, wooohoo, you can from now on paint with a broad brush Republicans one and all as...spineless.

Many Republican leaders are courageous and brilliant, but, you refuse to see or acknowledge that. The "few" became the party as far as you are concerned...the party you love to bash at every opportunity you can find.

Uncbob, I guarantee I am going to surprise you. Tonight I decided to go to your page and read some of your posts to other threads...ready?...here's the kicker, I agree with a lot, a whole lot, of what you have to say.

I agree that Frist should flatten Reid over the letter threat.[...and I agree probably he won't.]

I agree with you on the Armitage leak.

I, too, wish Sandy-sock-stuffer had received punishment equal to the crime, what he received was an embarrassment to justice.

Agree that the guilty parties in the CBS forgery should have been prosecuted.

These you didn't discuss, but, we maybe agree on, I believe the NSA leak, the foreign prisons leak, and any/many other various and sundry, present and future leaks should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law.

IMO, I just don't agree that the bashing and blame heaped on the GOP is the way to resolve any of this.

There is an abundance of impediments that have to be weighted into each or all of these instances. It's far too simplistic to blame the "spinelessness" of Republicans for the failure in producing satisfying results to these cases, again, IMO.

After reading your posts, I realized that you care deeply about most of the same issues I care deeply about, we just have a real difference of opinion as to where to place the blame on the screw-ups, missed opportunities and unaccomplished possibilities.

Although, we're polar opposites on this issue, I think we're parallel on many more of the tough issues...I found an olive branch on the way to this post, how about it?
