It is to You, O Lord, that we return with thanksgiving that You are the God of All Comfort. Be so very near to this one who has survived, when all others did not. Bring him through these days of recovery to the place of healing for his mind and his body and his spirit. Draw his focus upon Your Word, that he might know that You are Sovereign ... touch his body that he might know that You are the Great Physician. Comfort the families and friends who must deal with their horrendous loss ... grant them strength, courage, and hope that they might rest in faith in all they do not understand. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...
