Well... yeah, actually. Suspended on the 8th, resurrected on the 11th.
Draw your own conclusions.

The antichrist resurrects on the third day.
Is this the conclusion you were asking to be drawn?

Do not disturb, i.e. post prayers on threads requesting prayers.

Most excellent. I can now -- with deepest reverence -- abandon this fine old thread.

LOLOL!
Do not disturb prayer request threads by debating or posting material not part of the prayer effort.
To: Religion Moderator
Perhaps if this thread is going to be moderated as a Religion thread it should be moved to the Religion forum, since Religion moderators operate under different rules than the other moderators.

Ah.
So... does simply adding "(prayer request)" onto the subject line of any particular posted news item (such as this, which was posted in "news") cut off all debate? This, as you can see, is a topic of some considerable interest.

ahayes, I moderate both on and off the Religion Forum - and I post by both handles, RM and AM. This is not a Religion Forum thread and the RF guidelines do not apply here.
orionblamblam, if you want to discuss other issues relating to the incident, start a new thread.

Sometimes the things worth discussing are integral to the thread itself as much as the news article.
But, oh well. In the future, I'll avoid threads with "(prayer request)" in them as threads being inappropriate for actual debate. But the next question is... if I post a new thread with, say, "(science request)" in the topic, can we call down the wrath of the moderators on those who sully it with discussion or religion? Hmmmmm....

You are a bit behind the times here. Look over the thread. Probably 90% has nothing to do with prayer.
