I, too, watched the show, the first time in many, many years. It is truly amazing how much I have forgotten about network bias. In addition to the heavy handed bias I was impressed by the overall lack of substance. What a waste of time which I will never repeat, even if a conservative is to appear. Judging by the commercials, the target audience would be typified by my 75 year old mother-in-law. Now I know what informs her baseless liberal opinions.

I couldn't agree more.
In addition to the heavy handed bias I was impressed by the overall lack of substance.
Glenn Beck today did a segment on his show ridiculing the previous show, where Katie apparently made a big issue over the fact that she couldn't think of an appropriate "sign off" phrase. So she's having a contest where viewers send in their suggestions for a sign-off phrase for her.
They've supposedly been swamped with suggestions. I guess the viewers enjoy being treated like kindergarteners.
Talk about your "lack of substance"!
