I am upset about Scholastic pulling the Teacher Guide to Paths to 911, that being said I would not use it in the first place. It is the lazy way out. I will make my own questions for the students about the film, if I decide to use it.

I also hope that all conservative parents keep it in mind when the Scholastic Book Fair comes to their school.

For the commemoration of 911, the 7th grade teachers in our school are going to be showing a DVD. I have already previewed it and we are going to show segments on the witnesses, the heroes and the children of 911.

Good for you...

I wasn't all that thrilled with using a docudrama as "research" for school anyway..but, I thought having signed on to it...Scholastic should have stuck with it.
