"Of course, I'm wondering what the he11 they were doing all summer with this issue??"

Sucking up to the National Chamber of COmmerce and other expoliters of cheap foreign labor and listening to Carl Rove about the Republicanness of Hispanic voters - as though there is a connection between these two issues.

Meanwhile, the Dems are signing up illegal invaders to vote in the next election as Democrats. The same people the Administration is continuing to allow in here.

Chase Opposes Kennedy Amnesty Bill
Rewarding illegal aliens with a fast track to citizenship, which is precisely what Ted Kennedy's amnesty bill proposes---is wrong for our nation!

Any person who would come to this country must do what my wife and mother did: stand in line, fill out the paperwork and enter once you've been given permission do to so. No exceptions.

Kennedy's amnesty is also wrong because it victimizes the good people who are standing in line at our consulates and embassies with their documents in hand ready to apply legally---for a visa to come here. The only sin of these would-be immigrants, or visitors, is that their country doesn't share a contiguous border with the U.S. This is the meanest form of discrimination: punishing the innocent for a circumstance beyond their control.

While we understand the motivation that drives disadvantaged people to want to flee countries like Mexico for a better life in America we nevertheless are a nation of laws and our desire to help those in need must be subordinated to our insistence that we uphold our nation's laws. To reverse that order will only lead to the fast unraveling of the threads that unite us as one people.

Ted Kennedy's craven pandering to Hispanics for their votes must be stopped not just because it's unseemly but also because no segment of our society should be bought off with massive favors. That's the political way, not the honorable way. Hispanics can and should be part of our great nation, not by virtue of receiving a government sop but by being challenged to contribute, sacrifice and integrate themselves into our great culture and nation.

Help me fight Ted Kennedy's giveaway to 18 million illegal aliens!
