We must open a dialog with these people to better understand them. Yes I am sure that's the ticket. If only they understood us they would put down their arms.
I find it interesting that he talkes about carrying an M-16 . Why didn't he mention the rifle designed and manufactured by a moslem country? Oh yes they don't have one.

Just melt down the capital city of every Islamic country on the same count, then see if they want to negotiate, and if not then take out the next largest.

"There is no way of ever dealing with these people - no way of ever reforming them ~~ Bush's "long term plan" as outlined recently is both naive and sophmoric."

Islamist cleric Abu Bakar Bashir said - give me all your money, give me all the power, make me your new leader. and what do ignorant uneducated Muslims around the world do?
There is a reason why the radical islamist is anti democracy. Ultimately democracy puts the political, economic and security powers into the hands of the masses, not some demagogue. Muqtar Al Sadr and the Ayatollah Khomeini would agree with Baker. In the end, this is all about power and money and who controls it. The 16 year old with the RPG on Baghdad's streets is a pawn in a huge chess game.

and then ship out all non citizen Islamics as dangerous Cult members.
God they arrested that idiot fundamentalist LDS guy for having multiple wives but the Muzzies roam free and pump our gas, make our dunkin' donuts and sell us gum and cigarettes at every 7-11. time to take out the trash, and also lock down the borders and kick out the illegal Mexicanos while were at it....let them back in one at a time via Ellis Island like good immigrants

I agree with not wasting time and resources on democratization of Muslim states. Yep, the whole "winning hearts and minds" strategy is an utter waste of time, money, resources, and most importantly American lives. If we deem a nation to be a national security threat (like Saddam's Iraq was) then annihilate its warfighting ability and then get the hell outta there. Our armed forces aren't policemen or social workers, they're warriors. If a regime emerges from the chaos that's even more dangerous than the previous one, repeat destruction process. It would be a helluva lot cheaper, easier, and more effective than this futile nation building nonsense we're now enganged in. ....and it's not futile because nation building is always futile (it was obviously successful in Japan after WW2), it's futile because the Islamic world is evidently incapable of being civilized. Islamics respond to overwhelming strength only, not good inentions and "compassion."
