I've never understood blind obedience. It isn't a conservative trait. When our own disappoint us, we shouldn't let them off the hook just because we like the (R) after their names.

It's not a matter of "blind obedience". It's a matter of taking an adult viewpoint that the world is not perfect, nor are politicians, and recognizing that each election is a choice to be made. Not between a candidate and perfection, but between two candidates. One is closer to the ideal and one further from it. Refusing to make such a choice is like staying home on prom night because no girl in school meets your standards.
