Bad decision. There are a lot of children around the world who need (sorry to use the word) "closure."
They loved this guy, and he was a prime OZ ambassador.
The family should look outside of themselves on this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was the State of Queensland government which made the offer, not the Commonwealth of Australia government.

I'm lucky enough to have that kind of relationship with my dad, and hopefully my son will have that relationship with me some day.
