Congressman Dana Rohrabacher Endorses Randy Graf
(Tucson, AZ) Randy Graf, the leading Republican candidate to replace retiring US Congressman Jim Kolbe, was proud to announce that his candidacy was endorsed today by Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of California. Congressman Rohrabacher is currently serving his ninth term in Congress and represents the 46th Congressional District of California, which includes the Pacific Coastline of Orange County and Los Angeles from Huntington Beach to the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Congressman Rohrabacher currently serves as Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House International Relations Committee. Throughout his service in Congress, Rep. Rohrabacher has been one of the most forceful spokesmen for human rights and democracy around the world. Congressman Rohrabacher also has been a strong voice for lower government spending and taxes. His record of fiscal restraint and pro-growth policies has won him acclaim from the National Taxpayers Union, Citizens Against Government Waste, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the National Federation of Independent Business.
In his endorsement today of Randy Graf, Congressman Rohrabacher stated that Randy has: “unique qualifications that would serve the country well” and that Randy’s “proven leadership in the Arizona legislature…in complex and vital issues from budget negotiation to protecting whistleblowers is exemplary.” Rep. Rohrabacher went on to say that Randy’s hands-on experience on as a former school board member gives Randy “the practical background in education sorely lacking in Washington.”
In Congressman Rohrabacher’s endorsement letter, he went into detail about how impressed he was with Randy’s hard work in fighting illegal immigration. Rep. Rohrabacher was impressed by Randy’s “fearless leadership on stopping illegal immigration” and Randy’s “bold and visionary activism on Proposition 200…in spite of overwhelming and intransigent opposition from the media and political elite.”
Randy Graf welcomed Congressman Rohrabacher to his team today and thanked him for his dedication to the Citizens of California and to all Americans. “Dana Rohrabacher has been an exemplary member of the House of Representatives, and I am honored to receive his support today.”
