1) Republican fraud stole the election
2) The religious right rallied their sycophantic followers with outrageous scare tactics and hate speech
3) TheNeoCons conspired with TheChristianRight/ThePope/TheMafia/SpaceAliens


After witnessing the dramatic downhill slide in organized thought that these places have demonstrated over the past few years, I will not be surprised if I see any or all of the above theories seriously presented.
