This is one of the more offensive posts I've seen on FR in a while. The AFA tends to offend easily. Many people think that they do good work, but I tend to disagree. If they only gave their opinions on programs and movies, such as which would be appropriate for families and children, I'd have no problem. Instead they are more in favor of a nanny-state type of regulating what people see. If it is offensive to some, it can't be shown to anybody at all no matter what! I've got a solution for the AFA hacks: ignore them completely!

So do I. The AFA's "good work" seems to consist entirely of obnoxious letter-writing campaigns to the FCC based on the notion that American parents aren't capable of monitoring what their children watch on TV. The answer to this problem, if it exists at all, is more rigorous parenting. The AFA's preferred solution, however, is to infantilize broadcast TV.
