LOL!...good one Howlin! :D
When the people began coming out of the towers into the lower lobby, the NYC firefighters made a virtual wall so that the people coming down couldn't see what was happening in the area outside. They didn't want to start an all out panic.
That's right. It's none of OUR business what Iran is doing in THEIR country. We should mind OUR OWN f-ing business, RIGHT?
You know it; I have one grandson who ran into the polling place in 2004 yelling, "Where's George Bush?"
Am I doing a good job, or what?
Will you get a grip. It's not like the intro says "This is Walter Cronkite, and this is what f'n happened".
It is actual footage of people and their reations at that moment. And yes they cursed. I cursed. My wife cursed. My sister in law, who was there, cursed.
It's what really happened. If you dont like it. Dont watch it. But stop trying to force your opinions down everyone's throat. That's a liberal attribute.
He thinks it is the ABC miniseries. No one can convince him it isn't. lol
How about not watching it if it offends you? Did this ever occur to you?
I saw it too, and it was powerful, effective, and gut-wrenching. I expect attempts at censorship from the Moonbat Defense League, but not from conservatives. If Donald Wildmon wants to promote "family values" he ought to fight the Islamofascists who want to destroy American families - and their values.
"That's right. It's none of OUR business what Iran is doing in THEIR country. We should mind OUR OWN f-ing business, RIGHT?"
And Iran has exactly WHAT to do with your opposition to CBS airing the documentary in question?
I'm surprised everybody doesn't. I think Wildmon truly does have bigger fish to fry. I mean, I'm pretty sure ABC hasn't cancelled "Desperate Housewives".
:-D )))
I guess the fact that I agree with everything else you said is what made the knee-jerk, anyone-who-doesn't-agree-is-a-terrorist-sympathizer accusation so disappointing. It kind of messed up an otherwise excellent post.
Now you're just getting silly.
Is the AFA the same organization that is criticizing the ABC 9/11 program, too?
One of the most amazing scenes is when the fire fighters are in the North Tower Lobby, and hear a 'ding'. An elevator door opens, and a group of people who had been in the elevator when the plane hit, walk out, looking around, not having a clue what had happened.
No! And he doesn't want YOU to watch it it, damnit.
Can you believe this chit? :-)
Bill Clinton is pleased.
An excellent post!
Reading your posts, I have to believe you have not seen this documentary (as I have), or you would have some grasp of what's important here.
I'm not sure. This isn't my week to keep up with "The Perpetually Morally Offended and Outraged."
:-)
I remember seeing that particular part with Fr. Judge. I was a student at St. John's University at Queens at that time, and Fr. Judge was good friends with one of my theology professors. He had come to give us a lecture a few days prior to 9/11.
