The demand that Congress act would be a futile gesture. It might be great rhetoric and might play for the fall elections but it won't make any difference for the war. The MSM will continue to play their game.

He challanged Congress, not the MSM......and I believe Americans WILL WANT THIS !!! Bush put this front and center for the midterms........and set the standard for the presidential election to come.

It makes a difference for the war because it helps the GOP hold congressional seats. That alone helps the cause of the WOT. Rhetoric is a wholely necessary tool at times.

If you want to dispute something then fine, but at least have something to offer besides inane, no substance rhetoric.
