why send them to Gitmo, when we already know that the federal courts have extended their reach to that locale, granted habeas rights, lawyers, etc? I am confused, if what is being reported currently is how it plays out.
Perhaps the President intends to announce that he will not respect the decisions of the courts regarding these non-government combatants. He's doing it "for the survivors".
