You're wrong. And ad nauseam repetition doesn't change it one bit.

LOL. It's fun, entertaining and actually very inspirational.
The funniest part is how the dems are still wandering around dazed calling for Rummy to resign.
They seem so completely irrelevant.
To: DrDeb
Do you by chance tape President Bush's speech? If so, any chance I could purchase a copy? This is one to retain for history. Thanks.
To: Mo1
Thanks....just reading those names causes a migraine. What a nightmare lineup!

Was the guy Joe Reeder
http://www.gtlaw.com/biographies/biography.asp?id=1259
Joe Reeder, a former Army undersecretary during President Clinton's term in the White House, said there is definitely a need for separate legal proceedings for terror suspects not considered formal prisoners of war. He said the problem posed by Thursday's ruling is "easily solved" if Congress will "fix this" by passing legislation authorizing the tribunals.

Didn't hear what he said because I was typing what had been said earlier (Post #757).

To: RightWhale
Is it political to defend this country from terrorists, and to do everything possible under the law to prevent attacks and to let the country know that CONGRESS makes the laws? If so, oh cynical one, it's politics. Would love to know your moral upbringing and where you went to school .. want to put that place on the exclusion lists for my friends' kids. On the other hand, maybe you just wanna die.

That's despicable, but thank you for firing off those phone calls. MAYBE it'll change things next time...
I always have the TV on Fox News anyway if I'm home. FNC ran President Bush's speech in full, with commentary afterward.

I just hope Bush and the next pubbie candidate get along, have the same values and goals......and Bush can support him and campaign for him. I don't think you could claim that Bush and Arlen Specter have the same values and goals, yet Bush came out for him.
Shalom.

To: RightWhale
This speech, one of a series, by focusing on the legal challenges of the political oppoosition, was entirely political. That's what I said. What's your point?
The President is the leader of his party. He is SUPPOSED to help his party win or maintain control of government. That's one of his jobs.
Shalom.
