It is now time to unite around this brave lady, no matter what the chances are for or against her winning the seat that Nelson now occupies .

You're assuming that libertarian/RINO Republicans live by the same standard of "party faithfulness" that they try and impose on conservatives when a RINO is nominated. I certainly do hope Harris wins the general election, but I see a situation where a good number of RINOs would rather vote for Nelson than someone who is a social conservative developing soon.
