So you'd be supportive of nominating John McCain for the Whitehouse. And here's a newsflash for you...it is entirely common for the winners of a general election to have recieved less than 50% of the vote in their primary race. How long have you been following politics Dave?

Yeah, when the winner does not have high negatives, is not a polarizing figure, seeks to bring others back into the fold, is capable of running a smart campaign, and receives support (financial and other) from party leaders. The Bushes and the party begged her not to run. Do you really think they are going to waste money on her race when she is starting 30 points down when they have cliffhangers all over the country that they can win?

Over 40 years.
