Harris' supporters actually seem motivated to participate in the election process. More power to 'em

As polarizing a character as Harris is, do you really expect to bring the other 50% of Republicans that voted to vote for her. What about the 80% that didnt get off the couch. You do know that independents and Dems are also allowed to vote in the general election?

Yes. Unless they'd rather be represented by a Democrat. It's as simple as that.

"What about the 80% that didnt get off the couch."

Lazy folks who ought to be ashamed of themselves. Perhaps they missed the pictures of the Iraqi's braving threats of torture and bombings to vote in massive numbers. If you are too lazy to vote...SHUT UP.

"You do know that independents and Dems are also allowed to vote in the general election?"

Ummm...are you suggesting they would have voted for a Republican other than Harris? That is the point after all. None of the other Republican candidates could generate enough interest from republicans to vote for them. If you think they could have generated democrat votes...than maybe that explains why they didn't win a Republican primary.
