>>>Try this, in the general election, more than just crazy fundementalist wingnuts have the opportunity to vote. If you think the nut cases who voted for Harris are representative of Florida voters overall, your nuts. During the primary something like 10-20% of registered Republicans vote. So only a vocal minority. Add in independents and a few conservative Dems and you have a potential victory. Having Harris as the candidate will drive away all but those nuts who voted for her in the primary while motivating the Dems to come out in drove because "she stole the 2000 election".<<<

How long have you been a cheerleader for the Dems, Dave?

If I lived in Florida, I'd be happy to cast my vote for Katherine Harris. Dave S. is not from Florida either so he's not writing from first hand knowledge of Harris! Something else must be motivating his negative attitude toward her.

Her biography lists her educational background as: Rep. Harris earned a Master’s Degree from Harvard University with a specialization in international trade and negotiations, and a Bachelor’s Degree in history from Agnes Scott College. She studied abroad at the University of Madrid and at L’Abri outside Geneva, Switzerland. She obviously is no dummy!
