TAMPA, Fla. (AP) Katherine Harris won the Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat.
With all the negative talk against her, lack of backing and endorsement by party leaders and she still gets the nomination??
Time for everyone to back her 100% and put the negatives aside. The primary is over and she is our candidate. Show some sense. It's past time for argueing...
Oh yeah. This guy can help with your putting.

That is a very classy picture, but I don't very much about her. Is she a good public speaker? Can she articulate a good conservative point of view?
Didn't the Palm Beach Post write an article about that
last election? I think they took it series, and actually
wrote an article claiming their voters were told to vote
on Wednesday.
Dumb libs will complain about anything........lol
The people to whom she holds negative baggage wouldn't vote for the Republican anyways.
Please tell me that is not a flag.
I dont really have a hard time putting,
I just stand too close to the ball after I hit it....8^)
Now I'm REALLY behind her. I love any Republican with the hutzpah to defy the wimpy "Republican leadership". I'm not just being a contrarian tonight. I have always liked anything I've ever heard Katherine Harris say. I truly do think that most of her "negatives" derive from green-eyed envy of her critics. I admire her spunk. In fact, she reminds me of a Sorority sister of mine many years ago. She was a tiny little thing, and she decided to run for Student Body Treasurer at UC Berkeley before any woman EVER dared run for a campus wide office. This was in the day when the highest office a girl could hope to get was co-chair (with a man, of course) of the Card Tricks Committee. I was on her campaign committee and she led us around from fraternity to fraternity during the dinner hour on the weekly meeting night. Nobody gave her a chance; they all treated her candidacy as a joke. She'd stand up there in front of a bunch of rowdy men and ask them to hold out their hands and then to put them together, and again, and again. Then she'd say, "There, that proves I have leadership!" Then she'd give her campaign speech, and they all listened.
Corny, I know, but they all laughed because she'd gotten them to clap. Then the rest of us accompanying her would turn around one by one and display letters on our backs that spelled her name.
To make a long story short, SHE WAS ELECTED by a wide margin. She was the first woman elected to a student body wide office in the memory of anyone at UC Berkeley. Of course, this was in the days before all the radicals took over the campus.
I don't know...but sound reasoning should start to take effect pretty soon!
Othewise we need call out all the oldtimers to bring some calm to this place! I think I'm hearing the sounds of weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Don't you know: Republicans are stupid. Democrats are evil. Bi=partisan means they work together to write laws that are stupid and evil. Gridlock means no laws are passed that are either stupid, or evil.
Must be going around. I've been having that problem too.
Wow, she gets my vote.
i think I remember something about that. Someone claimed that they received an official looking flyer that said for all the "democrat folk" to be votin' on Weds.
When asked to show a copy of the flyer they delived one with the ink still wet from their daisy wheel printer.
> "Does this mean you're going to sit home and not vote for her?"
Sure sounds like it to me.
Same here.
A good example and a great story!
Harris was not my first choice, but she won the primary handily.
I am now behind her 100% and while I don't live in Florida, I am with you all the way and hope you have terrific success getting out the vote and unseating Nelson this fall. Congratulations on a well fought primary.
Truer words were never said. The continual rabid, brainwashed attacks on every aspect of her person, her figure, her campaign, and anything else their fevered brains could concoct are right out of DU.
I never thought I'd see the day. FR is not what it used to be.
