The president met with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in the Oval Office.
He gave a speech in Washington, DC, on his national strategy to combat terrorism.
Bush nominated Mary Peters, a former Federal Highway administrator, to replace Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta.
Our intrepid Secretary of Defense faced the surgeon's knife today, having successful arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff (left shoulder). Eric Ruff, the Pentagon press secretary, said Rumsfeld's cuff tear was caused by "an old athletic injury." Rumsfeld wrestled in college and is an avid squash player.
ohioWfan and I exchanged days to post the Dose.
Good evening and a shout out to Rummy too! Love the guy!
Wow...GREAT JOB Peach - thanks for the info!
Maple Grove - Not far from where I grew up! Ah....my peeps ;-)
Great Dose - really cute "all clear" too!
You're welcome. It imperative, imo, that the president talk about this matter. The democrats lies about this have been allowed to fester for 3 years now.
Did you assemble that monster list by yourself (at the link in #22 here)?
Yes; I've been compiling it for years.
Thank you!!! That's a peeerrrdy graphic!
Thank you both for the excellent information re the WOT, and the President's and Tony Snow's remarks.
GEM, thank you for the excellent Dose.
Wow! Thanks, Gretchen. You've made my night.
Tomorrow I'm making a big push to address a hard copy letter to Karl Rove and Tony Snow regarding this issue and might post a vanity asking freepers to write letters encouraging some action as well.
I have to believe that either the president doesn't think it's important or there is a national security reason why the president doesn't discuss this matter and defend his position from the lies on the left.
Some might think that "Congratulations!" is kind of out-there-big-and-flashy but hey, how often do we win things? !!
Hi kitkat -- isn't it great to see the president proving to us that he's been taking names and kicking you-know-what for the last five years?

I'd need a laterally-operational periscope to do that. Around a corner, down the hall, around another corner from the pc to the tv.
I hate to do this but I have a killer headache and need to lie down for a while. Have fun!
