I would have answered your challenge with Iran Khodro, but they've partnered with Peugot and Daimler-Chrysler, making them Persian pansy supporters by extension.
Oh well. I guess I'll have to go with the AMC Revo. (Adam Motor Co., Pakistan)

Now if we can get the Airbus CEO to take over Toyota, Detroit might have a chance!

Maybe everything was going OK until the pilot tried to put the plane in reverse! To misquote Ralph Nader: "Unsafe at any altitude!"

What koolaid have you been drinking? Ford's marketing and support don't even approach Subaru's. Their net spending is also less than Toyota's.
Do you even know what happened sales-wise last year? I'll help you:
GM introduced this lunacy called "employee pricing". Their sales skyrocketed, and the idiots at Ford and Chrysler matched the program, but also did so quite a while after GM started their program. By August of 2005, GM's inventory was depleted, and August turned out to be a relatively weak sales month for them. By comparison, Ford had record level sales as they were still eating through inventory. In May, GM's sales fell 16% compared to Ford's 1.9% drop (year-over-year). In June, GM's sales fell 26%, compared to Ford's 6.9% drop. In July, GM's sales fell 22%, compared to Ford's 34%. And in August, GM was up 0.7%, while Ford was down 11.2%.
And none of this has anything to do with a company making an idiotic decision to rely on trucks for 70% of its sales in an era of $3 gas, right?
Of course, its easier to make simplistic conclusions. I wonder why Honda's sales dropped 7% last month?

"Clearly, the challenges Boeing faced in recent years have many parallels to our own," Mr. Ford said in a statement. So Boeing blew it's market by hyping its marketing to the 1-2% of its buyers that are homosexual? FAB-U-LOUS! /sarc

Mr. Mulally, 61 years old, a Boeing executive vice president who heads its important commercial airplanes division, will take the Ford president and CEO post immediately as the struggling auto maker prepares a vast restructuring of its unprofitable North American business.
Oh Goody! Maybe they'll bring back the old tri-motor.

You are always defending Ford - thats fine - if you have stock in the company - now is the time to unload. Ford is going down - this boycott is gaining steam and it is meant to set a precedent. Ford is losing money, in part, because of their allegiance to the anti-family groups. Ford promotions are not creating the traction because many dont want to buy a product associated with destroying the family. Like I said Ford is blatant about its support for GBLT - this is going to cost them - we'll worry about the others after Ford is put into the trash heap.

It's fairly simple. You buy used from a non-brand/independent dealer. None of the big companies get your money.

And what, praytell, do you intend to drive, given the following as examples?
I am praying for one of these?
They seem to be "Homo Free" as well as any other type of left leaning wacko.

Boeing totally screwed up in not naming Mulally as CEO. Maybe. Jim McNerny, the guy who ended up being named Boeing CEO, seems to be a pretty good choice.

I remember dealing with Boeing back in the mainframe days and their programmers were union. For that matter so were our computer operators at Martin Marietta.

I'm defending Ford not because of any stock ownership. I defend them because I think the AFA's conclusions are complete falsehoods as to the source of their sales decline, they push half-truths and lies about the level of support Ford gives, they completely ignore worse violators, and I know of their sleazy tactics in the past.

"Any group which places photos of its founder/leader on every page of its website should raise a warning flag... "
????????????? - Are you sure you havent had some of the koolaid yourself. What does this have to do with anything? Look dont get the message and messenger mixed up. This is about Ford not AFA - you may have personal reasons to dislike AFA - but the message is why many are supporting this boycott. Ford is first on the list of offenders - the others are next - people are tired of companies taking sides against their family. If you want to support Ford then fine but if others want to boycott them then they should be supported as well. Personally I believe that Ford is making its own grave - I am tired of the racist diversity types who are the true definition of intolerance. This is about moral relativism - I have core beliefs that cant be influenced by saving a dollar. Maybe you care less about morals but some of us would rather starve than forsake our principles. Its a hard concept for those that dont have a spine - which may or may not include you.

AFA's actions are not about making a change for the better. If so, they would be honest in their actions.
AFA's actions are all about increasing their political standing and Wildmon's ego by manipulating a bunch of people who care little about facts and want to take knee-jerk reactions.
To: Paleo Conservative
They must have paid him quite the incentive to move to Ford. I heard Mulally enjoys a challenge. LOL
