I agree with you. I have always listened to Crowley because she often says something worth listening to. I wish people would stop harping on her weight. I used to be skinny as a rail, but no longer. When I read these personal comments, I get determined that I will never show up for a freeper event if there is one in our area. Sad that we lower ourselves to dem standards at times.
Hear Hear twigs; there is no reason to comment on Crowley's appearance. Her comments are relevant talking points, her appearance is not. For the most part, Candee has always been worth listening to.
Most of the ones who are eye candy are idiots who leave their mics on in the bathroom, or don't have the compunction to nail Democrats to the wall when they do or say something so stupid that it defies logic.
The ridiculous thing is that half the posters have to comment on it.
I am surprised that CNN let negative comments about the Dems be broadcast.
I don't think insulting people's weight is a political thing, Dem or Republican. In fact Dems I know are most careful not to mention that. While I am someone who used to be in shape and after a year and a half on my back from an accident and surgery I am only now getting back to the level of exercise I used to be at, I don't let that kind of thing bug me. I mean, let's be honest here, she isn't just a few pounds overweight, and if she were particularly tall or very beautiful, people would comment on that, too. People observe things about others' physical characteristics, good or bad, so I don't get upset about it.
I don't know as I would call it "harping." Commenting maybe. Hells bells, if someone dosen't like being a fat ass, they can lose some weight. If they don't mind being fat, go for it. It's a free country.
