I read yesterday that HIS GUT told him to run again in 2008....so I guess this is his first campaign speech since THAT recent decision...
But, ironically it is about how it is unfair to use election year politics to influence the Senate's actions....which, by giving this speech, MAKES IT AN ELECTION YEAR POLITICAL SPEECH!!!
