Doesn't matter. The more oil on the open market, the cheaper it is for everyone. I disagree. It matters very much when our dollars go to buy oil from people who want to hurt us.
Right now our friends, the Saudis, are using our money to fund world wide Wahhabi indoctrination centers.

Wrong. Oil is fungible. The more produced the lower the price. It doesn't matter who drills it, pumps it, sells it or uses it.
Imagine America were suddenly oil independent. Would the ME dry up and go away? No, the rest of world's oil consuming nations would continue to buy from there, it's just the price would be lower. Which is good for us and bad for them.
