Will ‘Khaled’ Centanni and ‘Ya'aqob’ Wiig, as apostates, be marked for death?

What's the big deal?

The Courts here in the USA are forcing everyone to convert to atheism using legal coercion.

There you make an error. They ARE guilty of hypocrisy when they uttered the oath of conversion to Islam...

Meaning: one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in religion

I don't care if they said they believed in Winnie the Pooh, under the gaze of the terrorists! IT WOULDN'T BE TRUE. I am NOT talking about faking a conversion, again... when NO conversion took place to begin with. Did you read the heart of Centanni and Wiig? Do you believe that in their souls they are now going to be disciples for Mohammad?

What I am talking about is building your faith within yourself, without looking for outside reinforcement from the world.

If I were in their place, I would have faith that my savior did bring me through the horrible ordeal of kidnapping and that he is still there to guide me, never turning his back on me while my mouth uttered the lying filth that the terrorists compelled me to.

Is it my place to determine who should or should not be considered a martyr? I think NOT! I will leave such weighty matters to God when he can measure it with forgiveness and understanding.

Inquisition was NOT in response to Muslims. Rather, it was in response to Christian/Protestant reform.

That's what I said. But hypocrisy is not a problem in Islam. If they said the words then they are genuine Moslems so far as Islam is concerned. What you believe to be true and what I believe to be true is NOT at issue. Mohammedans believe that if one says the words then one IS A MOSLEM and all the rules and punishments relevant to apostasy apply. To become a Christian saying some words is insufficient. Ones' heart must be converted. Your belief that the 2 men are not really Moslems has no bearing whatever on what Moslems believe about the situation. Moslems did not go to the same Sunday school that you were raised in. Moslems are not Christians and, for them, to say the words is sufficient. IT DOES NOT MATTER TO ISLAM AND TO MOSLEMS WHETHER OR NOT THE TWO GENTLEMEN BELIEVE ANYTHING AT ALL IN THEIR HEARTS or kept their fingers crossed. You seem to think Islam is just another Christian sect, like Baptists or Presbyterians. Actually Islam is rather different and is a whole other religion. Moslems have their own rules. They do not follow the rules of the Methodist Communion or even Episcopalians.
