The Terri Factor....as a factor...

Over the past five years of the Bush presidency, Republican congressional majority and political ascendancy of the religious right, the term “values” has gained currency in our national lexicon. So-called social values issues such as gay marriage, “intelligent design” and the Terri Schiavo case have helped to determine close elections.

Health care: Is it for all?

Skip Campbell:

State Sen. Walter "Skip" Campbell, the Democrat running for attorney general, voted twice to re-insert the feeding tube of Terri Schiavo and nearly cried on the floor of the state Senate when he realized she ultimately could not be saved.

Yet now, 19 months after Schiavo's death, Campbell has positioned himself as the candidate who rigorously opposed the unpopular state intervention.

Flipping positions on Schiavo... Attorney general hopeful Campbell has misrepresented his votes on Terri Schiavo .
