Two issues at play, (1) territorial researchers (some scientists don't seem to be very open minded these days to all potential solutions or to the possibility that they are wrong) and (2) the culture of death wants to be able to show the "good works" that they are doing with "fetal tissue" and perhaps establish a "need" for abortions.
