Chrzanowski asked for leniency for the thieves who burglarized her home. "I asked the judge to not to put them in prison if they'd return all of my jewelry," she said.

awww....how sweet!  Don't put them in jail so that they can steal (or worse) from others.

All I'd like to accomplish this time is an awareness by the person that stole my identity that they got caught. It is not my place to say what the appropriate punishment should be."

INVESTIGATING OFFICER: "Alright sir /madam, are you fully aware that you have indeed been caught?"

SCUMBAG PERP: "Uhhh... yessir, I sure am!"

INVESTIGATING OFFICER: "Okay then, please go on about your business and have a nice day.  I apologize for inconveniencing you in any way..  May we assist you with anything else?"

With judges like this.......

The five hundy on the credit card is stiff, but definitely could have been worse. $5800 on the phone? Yikes. What kind of bills is she running up, that that's not a big bill to her?
