I'd at least have the common courtesy and horse-sense to step aside for a viable candidate.

If there's a "viable candidate" who had a chance to win the primary as well as general election, why didn't s/he come out? Unless, of course, the "viable candidate" was afraid of Harris, or wanted to be anointed, not elected by voters in the primary.

Why didn't any other Republican, save Jeb, who should've been the one, not enter this race ? Because KH and her supporters made it clear they'd burn down the whole damn plantation if somebody tried to take "HER" nomination away. They've cited endlessly that she was OWED this after her doing her job in 2000. If it was possible that she could win it, they might've had an argument, but she has proved since the Spring that this is a fiasco and completely unwinnable. As I said, I hope they're happy, because this is going to be the biggest landslide victory for a 'Rat since the two-party era in FL began.
