CPR isn't effective on traumatic injuries with internal bleeding. All CPR does is circulate the blood to keep the body supplied with oxygen. If there's a hole in the heart, the blood just runs out into the body cavity. From the description of the injury, I can't imagine anything doing any good. He could have been laying on the operating table of the best hospital in the world when he got an injury like that, and he was gone.
They're saying he was hit by a 2.5 meter stingray, that's over eight feet long. It's been stated numerous times on all the posts, but it seems so strange, after all the stuff he did, for him to go out snorkeling in five foot deep water.
If the barb went through his heart and he pulled it out, he didn't have much of a chance.
