From the media's perspective, it was a success because it gave them something to caterwaul about for two years. But for those who ginned up the story, it is a failure. They did not get the President defeated in 2004, they did not get the Vice President indicted, and most importantly, they did not get Karl Rove out of the White House or out of Republican political planning. Never forget that. This was the mother of all dirty tricks and it failed.

Yep, the lie has been repeated thousands of times, the truth once. Do you think if someone attacked the Clinton's like that, they would get a free pass like the Plame/Wilson.

I say if he does, the facts will not deter him from still calling the President and ESPECIALLY Vice President Cheney dishonorable, not according to the evidence, according to THEM!!
They have to continue or the unspun facts will steamroll them. The retribution we get is that they look like total mendacious assholes as they spin. Along the way we also get to see any serious hope of a big book deal for Plame go pffft! And Powell and Armitage in particular look like disloyal backbiting villains.
