In Chicago today, hundreds of people set out on a 50-mile, four-day march for immigration rights. Their final destination is the district offices of House Speaker Dennis Hastert in Batavia, Illiniois. The protestors don't like the House immigration bill that would criminalize undocumented workers. There've been a lot of these protests this summer. So nothing too surprising here. Except that this political demonstration is being brought to you by Miller Brewing Company. From WBEZ in Chicago, Mike Rhee tells us what's brewing.

It's all beer, it's all good. Even if everyone on FR boycotts Miller, they would hardly notice. It's the perceived threat of indignant controversy that can worry corporate types. They fear most being exposed in the MSM as actively appeasing illegal immigration. The most effective thing we can do is to take the time to email Miller and better yet, write local letters to the editor condemning this support of illegals. They have already decided who they want to buy their beer.
They (the protestors) don't seem to be getting their wish for media coverage this weekend, at least not that I've seen on cable. Locally, anyone?
Not if its Miller. Their beers are easy to boycott, cuz they all suck!

8. Go to bars and comment loudly to your friends so other patrons can hear you say, "No don't buy me a Miller! They support illegal aliens, and I won't give one red-cent to Miller! Why would I want to buy beer from a company that sells out American values?!?!"
