U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris Wins Race for Florida GOP Senate Nomination
By STEVEN WINE
MIAMI Sep 5, 2006 (AP) U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris overcame a campaign ridiculed even by her own party to claim the GOP nomination for the Senate on Tuesday.
With 48 percent of the precincts reporting, Harris had 50 percent of the vote against three relative unknowns. Attorney Will McBride ran second at 30 percent, and retired Navy admiral LeRoy Collins had 15 percent.

That she is a f... loser.
woo-hoo.
Now we'll just sit back and wait for the NRSC to flood this race with money. (rolling eyes)
Anyhow, what's done is done. I guess you'll have to learn the hard way. But I sure hope you don't have to.
Either way, I'm burying the hatchet here. There is one single remaining goal for prayers and efforts right now: retire Bill Nelson.
Time for a song from "Twas the Night Before Christmas:"
You hope,
and I'll hurry.
You pray,
and I'll plan.
We'll do what's necessary cause
even a miracle need a hand........
First of all I never said He was going to win I said he has the best chance of beating Harris and he was the best chance since he came in at 30% and Collins and Monroe came in at 15% and 5% respectively.
Yes I will vote for Harris in November. I always said I would vote for whoever the nominee was. Not that it will really matter through.
