Someone should explain to this idiot the difference between fighting a conventional Total War against a defined nation state with fixed geographical goals and an fighting an asymmetrical threat from a hard to locate, geogrpahically unfixed underground political movement.

#293,not only were we allowed to fight the Nazi's,they were mostly concentrated in Germany and countries that they overran like France. Germany was where the Nazi's had their home,and we could concentrate on Defeating Germany to defeat them. We also did not have smarmy, anti-American DBM and DNC types trying to defeat our Military by undermining them and the President at every turn. There was a lot of Patriotism that is sadly lacking today since so many Democrats and DBM types have gone over to the left so far they might as well be all registered as Communists. We had an almost 100 percent effort by our Citizens in America to defeat the enemy,and most Americans were Patriotic,not so with these people today. I do question their Patriotism,and I never thought I would see in my lifetime the kind of person that would be so anti GWB ,and the GOP that they would hate their own Country and try to destroy it from within. They believe the crappola that is spewed by the DNC DBM that if we just get rid of all the GOP in the Majority,everything will be wonderful. They are Children that never grew up and never will. The poor stupid boobs think that if they succeed in destroying this Country that they will not go down in flames screaming and begging all the way.

Desmond Llewelyn, who played "Q" in the James Bond movies, hated Americans.  He had been held prisoner by the German's since his company was captured in France in 1940.  A group of young American GIs were the first to liberate his POW camp 5 years later and, when he told the American that he'd been there since 1940 the ignorant American said "c'mon, the wars only been going on since December, 1941!"

That also totally ignores how long the world fought the Imperial Japanese, starting in Korea and China.  The United States was a late comer to that conflict as well. 

Juan is an ignorant American.  He's an ignorant anything, for that matter.  This war has been going on, with brief pauses, for 1300 years.  If you want to get down to it it's been going on since Cain slew Able, so to speak.  Certainly since Abraham (and God) chose Isaac over Ishmael.  Of course, Ishmael rejecting God and his descendent's swearing vengeance on the God that abandoned them might have something to do with the current difficulties.
