I may disagree with Santorum on some issues but at least you know where the man stands. Casey seems like he doesn't have a clue at all.

I agree. Rick Santorum is doing a stellar job. Of course we have loonies who don't want to hear the truth and PA is full of them.

I love how Rick's opponent uses that lame "more troops needed". How the hell do these idiots know this? Are they military commanders on the ground?

See, it's naught but a silly sound byte. Us idiots out here in la-la land are supposed to hear about more troops and we shrug our shoulders and consider that it sounds good to us. More troops...hey, logical. More troops are better than less troops, right? Of course it's not but that's not the initial knee-jerk reaction without further study and that's what the libs count on.

Further, how about this command to "fire Rumsfeld"? Once again, a sound byte. The average schlub in la-la land has no particularly loyalty to Rumsfeld and, indeed, might off the cuff consider this might be a good action; shake things up.

Enlighten me, how many Repubs came out and demanded that Clinton fire Albright? Or Cohen? I mean they may have criticized but was there anything on the scale of this mantra to fire the President's lawfully chosen Secretary of Defense and/or State? You don't see many screaming to fire Condi and it's not because they think she is doing a good job. They know Condi is well-=liked by the American people while Rumsfeld could be considered on the edge. Which makes it nothing but political bullcrap, not a plea for the greater good of this country, right?
