If I recall correctly, Rove talked to that DNC mouthpiece at Time magazine-- Matt Cooper-- under "Deep Background" which in journalism means that "you cannot use or print it under any circumstances." Cooper and the MSM have buried that fact, and it alone is proof that it was not meant to out Plame, but rather to clarify Wilson's lies.

#236, I really hate to beat a dead horse and cast aspersions on someone that has left the White House,but Scott McClellan was the worst Press Secretary I have ever seen including some really bad liar Rats. Tony Snow slaps those idiots down and makes them behave,Scott looked like a just Killed raccoon being eaten by the biggest and ugliest Turkey Buzzards you have ever seen. It was painful to watch and GWB should have replaced him 6 months after he hired him. Loyalty to his Mama probably kept him from making the change. The more Scott cowered the worse the Mediediots became,and since Scott was not an insider like Tony insisted on being, he was uninformed and inept. This was one of the few really serious disagreements I had with this administration,but it was a problem for a very long time and reached a crisis.
