The party itself is a complete joke but the message is there. It's the national party that is destroying Libertarians in general. Too much emphasis on open borders and drugs and not enough on low taxes and limited government.
There's plenty of room in the GOP for Libertarians, just as there's a religious wing and a RINO wing.

Not to mention their esteemed former (late) leader Harry Browne, who blamed America for 9/11/2001.
These people are all over the place, on most all issues. BIG L's and little l's agree on little.
No wonder they make little headway. They don't deserve to.
That's how it always was. The libertarians and what is now called "paleocons" were the cornerstones of the conservative movement. But the neocons and party hacks purged them all.
They prefer Joe Lieberman.
