What put me in the President Giuliani camp this primary season is not only his 100% support for what Bush is doing, but an answer Giuliani gave to a question about politicizing the war. Giuliani's answer was that it is our right as Republicans to politicize the war, since we have the right to make our case.

I've never seen someone that upfront about the threat we face, but then again, I wasn't in NYC during 911 either.

Reagan, who was born in 1911, didn't become a Republican until the 1960s, so I'm willing to cut Giuliani some slack on social issues. Winning politically often has to do with personality; the politics involves wheeling and dealing in anycase, and it is our responsibility to keep the Senate and House in addition to the executive branch.

The bottom line: We really can't afford to sit back and let the Islamofascists spike a nuke over the net at this point in history. Hillary, Kerry, Gore (whoever the Dem nominee is) and the UN will not protect us.

If the Dems win in 2008, we all lose.

You don't know who Donald Rumsfeld is? There is a man infinitely more qualified to WIN a war...
