The rail systems are fine as long as you're leaving the city. The garages, however, are another story. They're not letting anyone in the garages around the area to get their cars until they've inspected them and have given the all clear. From the looks of traffic, they've either just done that; everyone in the city has no choice but to get out using the same streets; or both.
Odd...considering that this was an "electrical" underground fire event. News reports showed unbelievable backups yesterday. Also, on talk radio the interviews with people in the area said that the buildings shook, and one man stated that there were at least 3 explosions...and at one point with the noise and the buildings shaking...he thought that a building had fallen because it was so loud.
