Here's the building

residential
Watching CNN-- nothing there, yet.
Sending the helos for possible roof rescues....USAR response from the Valley and Harbor areas
Hopefully everyone will be safe. Highrise fires are the most dreaded incidents by firefighters.
KNBC 4 said the building was sprinklered and the fire appeared to be contained to one unit. There are a number of elderly patients being tended to due to smoke.
They cancelled the helicopters....still tending to elderly with smoke inhalation....fire is out confined to one apartment
That's good news, the smoke is a serious threat. Hopefully the fire was contained quickly which minimizes the amount of smoke.
The resident is okay, the nurse is missing, and the dog is dead....everyone else accounted for
Good news, thanks for the reporting. There's no substitute for sprinklers, especially in highrises.
