Oh, well that is true. I was all happy and bragging about my job, 2 man trailer, etc. Then I really--I mean REALLY--thought about it one night watching a group in line at the store. And it hit me that those guys are no different than any group of kids back in the 'States.
No different, except that these guys risk their lives daily when they go to work, looking for IEDs as they make their way to a target, or escort a convoy, or simply patrol an area of the city. They get shot at with RPGs, guns, rockets and mortars--and they crack jokes before they go on shift like anybody else.
And they do it willingly, and probably don't even realize how much in awe of them I and most of America are.
Sorry, I got off on a tangent. Keep posting the tunes, please! And we'll keep listening.
