Let me know what spot you choose to draw your uncrossable line on.
Polygamists getting bulk discounts!
"And at what point do you think the frog will jump out of the gradually warming pot of water, heading towards boil? What line is too far for you to cross? Gay individuals getting discounts that straight individuals don't? Gay married couples getting special discounts tht straight couples don't? Let me know what spot you choose to draw your uncrossable line on."
I clearly was not saying that those later two discounts are taking place. I clearly was ASKING YOU, is that a line that you would consider to be to far, because following the logical line of progression with this kind of event, those things are logically down the road. If you disagree with me, that's fine. But please do not take me out of context, and then ask me for proof of what I said, when I never said that that was happening. I was asking you if those two things would be over your line of what's acceptable. Basically, I'm trying to find out if you have a line that any liberal could cross. Don't take me out of context. My comment in full is on the first page and anyone can see what I said, IN FULL, reposting part of it and then trying to put me on the spot is silly.
I feel for you having to endure the bell a few weeks a year. Would you rather be one of the people that has to depend on the assistance that comes from the donations in that bucket to make it through the holidays, and not have to hear the bell? I'd rather be employed and have to hear the bell a few weeks a year than be so needy that I need the assistance that comes from the bucket which the bell is being run to call attantion to. I think your perspective is a little off.
You obviously missed the point made by the doctored photo. Chamberlain thought he could appeased Hitler, he was very wrong. Annan thinks he can appease Islamofascists, again, he is very wrong.
BINGO! If there was a doorprize, you'd have it. They're (liberals) supposedly so inclusive, yet they always have to make their own segments of things. Like there is a gay cable network. There are gay clubs. If there was a straight only tv network labeled as such, or a gay only club labeled as such, the ACLU would sue to close it down and gays would protest it in a hot second. It's typical liberal hypocrisy. These flaming gays are heterophobic truth be known. Otherwise, they wouldn't be pushing their radical gay agenda on tv, in movies, in schools, against marriage, in society in general. They are presuming rights to preferential treatment that the Constitution does not afford. I've read it many times and I've not read any part of it, not even "Equal protection under the law" that would afford the kinds of radical gay agenda space being given to their radical movement. It's a two faced liberal double standard. Just like on the war. Just like on the economy. Just like with tax cuts. Just like with judges. Just like with Armitage being the leak and them not persuing charges like they did against Rove who didn't leak, Just like with everything. Liberalism is just one double standard hypocritical joke after another, and this WalMary gay-loving joke is the most recent exaple. I bet liberals will back off their opposition of WalMart for not being unionized because of their gay support now. Just watch and see.
Same here. I would rather pay an extra 5%. Too bad for walmart, I spend entirely too much there anyway. I am going back to coupon clipping and shopping at my local stores. So long Walmart.
Anyone who that is their uncrossable line, they've already crossed so many others out it's not worth keeping that one.
Ahhhhhem. :) I could have not seen that. That's bad.
I must have too much on my head right now. I didn't catch that at all. But you're certainly 100% right. Spot on.
Me, too - but over a year ago. money=mouth.
Good for you. THAT is what will make a difference. If a few million people do what we're doing now, that will cost WalMart millions a month, $200 to $500 million or more a month nationally, since each person spending between $200 to $500 a month on groceries and retail items, as the average individual expenses per month, however many millions of people carry out this boycott, the retail and grocery sales losses will be in that number of hundreds of millions of dollars in losses per month. It's simple math, and WalMart is going to get a tutorial.
Good for your guys! That's the other great way to get their attention. All conservatives dropping WM from their portfolios till Walmart reverses this mistake will be something they can't ignore. Good for you guys!!! :)
"Well, group discounts to gay organizations is pretty straight forward."
Dude. Dude. DUUUUUDE!!!
What discounts? Where did you read that? What's the source? It's not in the article the original post links to. And I can't find anything about it on Google news items either.
Please tell me what discounts you are talking about. And if there ARE discounts, are they given ONLY to this group, or to other groups supported by WalMart?
Lots of posts are claiming that there already ARE some kind of discounts only for teh gheys.
Anyway, I see no line here. I see a company making a PR move to get more ghey business. That's capitalism, my friend. That's good ol' USA capitalism. I don't see that their donation in any way discriminates against straights. They give lots and lots and lots to 'straight' groups such as the Boy Scouts.
For the record, I don't believe I've ever heard of any store offering discounts to gay people.
I rarely shop at Wal-Mart, but I think that on those few occasions that I do..... it might be difficult for me to get used to a male voice saying, " Brucie, does this make my butt look fat?"
Yes, I live a sheltered life, but I am fine with it. ;>)
Instead of Wally World, will we now need to call it "Wallie World"??
" Yeh, let them add to the death rate of homosexuals, why should you care?"
I thought you'd be pleased. Anyway, the death rate for everyone is 100%. Worship in church, shop at Wal-Mart.
It's been posted, but I don't think this exact letter. Anyway, this needs a lot of exposure.
I emailed WalMart and told them that I would not be shopping there any more and why.
