If you're a Russian nationalist, that's fine. Be a patriot of Russia. But, don't think he's doing Russia any favor by appeasing and arming Iran and Syria. ;) I don't think I need to remind you that Muslims make up (at the last figure I saw), around or over 10% of Russia's population, and is the fastest growing segment. I could be wrong on this, but I don't think I am. Do you honestly think that their proxy militias are going to concentrate on regional jihad? Do you think that by Putin arming them and appeasing them with sympathetic rhetoric that he will transform angry, alienated and rapidly radicalizing Muslims in the former USSR into patriots?
We both know that's not true. Putin is concentrating on short-term profit, and trying to cozy up to China, and Iran. Which is well and good, to a point. But China is going to eat up Russia's east, when given half an opportunity. Or just flood it with illegal immigrants (as it continues to do), and have it secede. In the long term, he's going to reap a lot of the trouble he's sowing for the West now.
And the geographical definition is "Israel". I do watch the Discovery Channel, and its spinoffs, and they use "Israel". Hagana was not a terrorist organization, by the way. You're probably thinking of the Irgun and the Stern Gang; and they don't hold a candle next to the Islamist terrorists. They rarely, if ever, targetted civilians (I can't think of a single instance when they did). In fact, they generally called the British to warn them to get everyone out of the building. They did assassinate British officers, and attack soldiers.
And, by the by, I want Russia for myself. So, you know...both me and the Russians have an equal claim to the land. And who's to say who's right? ;p

There are danger. But I think Russia should sooner or later to bye-bye Muslims. She should leave Muslim areas. Maybe the policy of Putin bring it closer.

I put the word "terrorists" in quotes if you remember. I know that Hagana attacked only british military.
But here on FR many want to call islamists who attacked Isareli and american military as "terrorists" too. I just wanted to emphasize that if we call those who attacked Marines in Lebanon and who attacked Cole-destroyer the "terrorists" then we should call those who attacked german military during WW2 as "terroists" and Hagana and many more like american Militia who attacked british military.
I think they all are guerillas not terrorists.
