Since Bush is president, it barely gets a mention and even then only on what dire precedent and "looming problems" it presents.

One thing I've used in the past with young liberals, to help them understand just how many people really are working these days, is to ask them to "look at all that traffic", every car (95%) has someone either going to or coming back from work. Great line. Hope you don't mind but consider it stolen :^)
