Scooter was deposed, and allegedly lied about what he said to three reporters, per their testimony. That is the prosecutor's case - nothing more, nothing less.
And Scooter and his attorneys beg to differ.

But can Fitzgerald prove it? Can he prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Libby willfully lied and can Fitzgerald provide a plausable Libby motive to the jury. Is Fitzgerald taking the word of reporter(s) over Libby's testimony because he want to believe it without any real proof? A he said she said scenario?
I hope Libby's attorneys got a copy of Russert's statements last weekend. The blatant lies he told on air earlier this week should go a long way towards illustrating his lack of credibility.
